St Brelade’s Bay is Jersey’s best all-round beach — sheltered, sandy and family-safe — but it isn’t the most beautiful. That’s Beauport, one headland west, if you can handle the steps. For surf go to St Ouen’s, for seclusion Plémont after half tide. Here’s the honest ranking, with the tides that change everything.
